How do I choose the right sign family?
Danger identifies a potentially life-threatening hazard. Warning identifies a hazard requiring caution, outside the danger classification. Mandatory signs communicate an action to take; prohibition signs identify an action that is not permitted. Fire-equipment signs locate firefighting equipment, while first-aid and emergency signs identify assistance or emergency information.
